Ever thought about what it would be like to run on the Newark Country Club golf course? Well, your chance has arrived. It’s time to Rock & Roll!

On Saturday, November 8, at 3 p.m. the Rock & Roll 5K will be run at the Newark Country Club.

The Newark Morning Rotary Club is sponsoring this event to raise money for the Newark Area Welfare Committee (NAWC), which has lost critical funding from the state legislature. Highlights include

• beautiful setting for a run or walk—the Newark Country Club
• live rock & roll music, featuring Club Phred
• snacks and beverages for all runners/walkers
• back sack filled with goodies for all runners/walkers
