It was fairly warm and humid for the running of the 37th annual Icicle Ten Miler in Wilmington on January 13.  Same tough finishing climb up the Adams Street hill, though.  Of the 590 finishers, four Creek Road Runners stood out.

CRR Dan Simmons didn’t come close enough in his quest to snatch another state age-group record, but he did win the 65-69 age group in 1:16:46. Coming in third in that same category was CRR Bruce Hubbard (1:27:53).

Among the female runners, CRR Theresa Kauffman and CRR Holly Scott came in third and fourth, respectively, in the 50-54 age group. Kauffman’s time was 1:20:13, and Scott finished in 1:25:53.
